The Blossom star was inspired by the flower pattern of the Chinese Pagoda Trinket Box.  This star also includes the integral support pattern.  It is not complicated but creates a more defined star shap which is therefore much lighter when finished.  It is also a wonderful way to use tiny quantities of beads from stock as you can change the colours of the flowers.
