The Pearl star is embellised with 20 pearls but you could use crystals if you prefer, rounds or bicones.  I used gorgeous galvanised magenta and aqua colours on a cream background.  This star also includes the integral support pattern.  It is not complicated but creates a more defined star shape which is there much lighter when finished because it does not need stuffing.
